Keep Up & Break Down! Technique and Combos with Laylia of Ohio:

Saturday June 7th @ 10:00-12:00pm - Laylia returns to Colorado with those spicy layered combinations we love! Full of laughter and serious challenges, she is great for all levels of dancers! Laylia will break down her slow roll combos that mesmerize as they wind their way through your body. Then change up to fast lock combos and techniques that surprise & delight while contrasting & highlighting your dance! Both useful in cabaret and tribal fusion, her tricks and helpful technique hints will leave you with new tools to flatter your own musical interpretation.

Laylia breaks combinations down quickly and in a hilarious way that beginners can relate to while presenting concepts that are interesting to advanced students! Before you know it she has you smiling and your wiggling organized in a fantastically strange way that makes the weird make complete sense!

Mystic Touch - Choreography with Laylia of Ohio:

Sunday June 8th @ 1:00-3:00pm - If you like Laylia's performances, you are going to LOVE this! Laylia has agreed to teach one of her specialties! A slow, playful, smooth choreography full of fun accent concepts! Short and layered up- she will start from the basic concepts and add the layers until it is HOT HOT HOT! Beginner dancers will be able to dance the combinations from beginning to end successfully and take home something fun and noodle-y. Advanced dancers will enjoy the extra layering that Laylia adds to give her performances that X-tra O-pah!

This workshop with Laylia includes a zill-technique breakdown of her combinations that accent the music and dance movements - definitely fun and achievable for beginners! Please bring paper and writing utensils, as tricks for writing down choreography & timing of combos and a set list is included in the seminar (but not done for you).

Please Note: Bring zills and one veil for opening sequence.
