Available Parking
Parking!  We love off street parking, especially as we're just a couple
of blocks from the People's Fair.  We have 3 off street lots at our
disposal, but use of each varies so please make note of the details
with each lot:
1) NE corner of Logan Street and 14th Avenue, 1 block east of
the venue and across 14th:
This lot is for employees of the CO
state employees credit union and available to us for the whole of the
weekend, no need to worry about being towed.  There are about three
dozen spaces.  As it is usually available on the weekends, some fair
attendees may also park there, so it will likely fill up early the night of
the show.
2) SW corner of Logan Street and 14th Avenue, 1 block east of
venue on same side of 14th:
The entrance to this lot is on Logan
Street, about 2/3 of the way up from 13th to 14th Avenues.  This is the
other lot to be used Saturday day.  On Sunday some of these spots are
used by the church on the NW corner of 14th and Logan so please use
the other lots first if you are coming to the Sunday workshops, or at the
very least do not park in the 30-40 spaces that are either marked as
church parking or closer to 14th avenue.  Note, the people who
administer the lot told me there is a chance that the church may try and
prevent you from parking there on Sunday morning, so take your other
options if that morning please.
3) SW corner of Pennsylvania and 13th Avenue, 2 blocks east of
venue on same side of 14th:
This is the customer lot for the credit
union and IS NOT TO BE USED SATURDAY DAY until the
credit union is closed for the day, which is 1 pm.  THEY WILL
TOW YOU!
I think if you come mid afternoon for a bit of the fair
before the show you should be ok, so long as the credit union is fully
closed.  This lot is fine for Saturday night and Sunday day, and we
may have a shuttle for the 2 blocks to the venue should you have anyone
 who is infirm with you.
Much thanks to PERA and the CO State Employees Credit Union
for the use of their off-street parking
!
Please Note:  On street parking is time
limited to one or 2 hours depending on the
zone, though the meters are only active
M-S.  If you find an on-street spot around
4-5pm or later, you should be fine.

~ Local Lunch Options ~
Yes, there are the usual suspects aka: chain restaurants: On the
same block as the venue, heading towards 13th avenue, are
Tokyo Joe's and Panera Bread.
One block north to Colfax Ave head east and find McDonald's,
Wendy's and Good Times all by Clarkson street.  Chipotle
closed in early March.

Oh . . . sorry . . . did you say I want REAL food!  In which
case, we have many very nice options, within easy walking
distance, some of which are:
Shish Kabob Grill - one block north at Colfax and Grant -
sandwiches are in the $4-$6 range, platters are more, Moroccan
tea, Turkish coffee and yummy deserts too.  They make
everything fresh so get there and get your order in sooner rather
than later if you want to be back on time.  Veggie and meat
options available.
Taki's - Colfax and Logan (1 blk east) is great, fresh, cheap
Japanese food.  Portions are large and prices $5-$9 for full meals.
Also takes some time for your food to be made, so get there
promptly.  Meat, veggie and fish.  Their ginger miso is the best
miso ever!
City o' City (where Watercourse used to be) -  13th and Sherman
(1 blk west).  Food is veggie with some vegan options - pizzas,
mezzes, pastries, coffee/tea drinks and a full bar to hang at in
between the workshops and the show.  Those of us who went
there after the show last year were very satisfied with the food
and drink.
Penn street Perk  (next to where Chipotle used to be)  -
in addition to coffee house stuff, they also have salads and
sandwiches that look good by the descriptions on the board
(think Panera but independent, not corporate).
Cafe Netherworld  - Regulars, spread the word about their
menu; I don't know much about it but the sign now says the
kitchen opens at 3pm, so it wont work for lunch.  SE corner of
Penn and 13th Avenue.
Colfax Avenue from Grand to Logan has a bunch more places;
City Grille
is a nicer bar/burger places.  There are also BBQ,
pizza and burritos.  Prices are inexpensive to moderate.
People's Fair food:
In order to get food here you need to buy tickets which were,
and may still be, 9 tix for $5.  Food tends to run 10-12 tickets,
drinks, ice cream about 6-8.  It's a racket to have you buy more t
o use them up.  I think tix can be used the next day, but not
transferred to the other summer festivals.  Usual fair food and
some local restaurants, along with beer stands and a couple of
bar areas with hard liquor.

Bon Appetite!
